JOB DESCRIPTION:

The QA SAP Senior Test Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the testing groups. The candidate will have knowledge of functional and Non-functional testing using structured testing techniques, with particular focus on automated testing techniques and its application in the SDLC. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include: Assess testing requirements and provide estimates of testing effort and resources; develop, maintain and support testing methodologies; strong focus in Automation of SAP testing; ensure the quality of testing and completion of test deliverables; coordinate the Development of Test Strategy, Assessments and Test Plans; oversees that all projects are successful and on schedule; point of contact for upper management, test leads and project management; point of contact for testing related escalations; provides direction and support for test team; reports on overall testing for the SAP application; works with leads in the testing groups to incorporate standards, procedures and processes that follow overall QA Management into SAP test management; able to understand, identify and manage project risks; coordinate test leads, delegate / assign tasks, consolidate/report on issues and monitor on update on progress; provide team members guidance and feedback, coaching and direction; develop, manage and work with test leads to report on key metrics and KPIs; leading and managing offshore resources



REQUIRED SKILLS:
• A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience) is required; • 7+ years of SAP ERP experience in a high tech environment; • 5+ years experience with SAP Testing and Test Management; • Leadership and management skills; • Strong planning and project execution skills; • Demonstrated ability to proactively build and manage relationships; • Strong communicator (Oral, Verbal, and Written) with ability to persuade individuals and groups; • Excellent technical skills with strong analytical and diagnostics background; • Strong organization and time management skills; • Ability to use metrics in an operation environment to suggest and implement continuous improvement; • Ability to thrive in a challenging and high pressure environment; • Comprehensive knowledge in SAP testing suite (TAO, TDMS, HP QC, QTP, BPT Solution Manager and Solution Manager Adapter); • Firm understanding of ASAP Methodology; • Must be willing to travel 25% of the time ADDITIONAL ASSETS • Knowledge and experience with the variety of SAP applications; • Experience with Livelink, Remedy and ARIS would also be an asset; • PMP Certification; • Past experience with offshore resource management and offshore operations modeling If you're driven to take wireless technologies to the next level, it's time you join the team at RIM.
